Data Collection Methodology

All daily egg rates published on EggRatesToday.in are subjected to a multi-stage verification process:

01.Primary source data is fetched directly from the National Egg Co-ordination Committee (NECC) official daily price bulletins at 9:30 AM IST.
02.Rates are cross-referenced with regional wholesale market unions in key centers like Barwala, Namakkal, and Mumbai.
03.Retail margins are calculated using localized transport and logistics premium models updated weekly by our analysts.

Correction Policy

If an error is identified in our published rates due to late NECC revisions, we update the data within 15 minutes of official confirmation. All corrections are timestamped in our historical logs.

Holiday Pricing

During local or national holidays when NECC does not release rates, we explicitly label the data as "Previous Day Carryover" to prevent market confusion.

Fact-Checking Integrity

Every blog post and market analysis report on our platform is fact-checked by our lead analyst, Abhishek Dey Roy, before publication to ensure technical accuracy regarding poultry feed costs and logistics.
